Division Zero Branding
2016
After a decade of defining the professional keyboard market, Das Keyboard wanted to expand their renowned line of computer peripherals into the professional gaming market. We worked with Das Keyboard to develop the Division Zero brand, an identity built around the precision and energy of competitive esports gaming. The Division Zero word form and mark are the forefront of the brand, while polygonal camouflage provides graphic and texture treatments across the line of products. We also developed an exclusive Division Zero display font for product labeling and marketing materials.
Division Zero X40 Keyboard
2016
The X40 professional gaming mechanical keyboard was designed for the most demanding of users. Building on the successful Das Keyboard 4 design paradigm, the X40 features a rigid aluminum top panel above mechanical key switches mounted to an internal steel chassis, all contained within a sleek low-profile housing. The result is a bomb-proof yet ultra-thin keyboard with switches that feel solid and give immediate tactile feedback. The top panel was designed to be removable via 8 hex bolts, allowing the end-user to easily customize their keyboard with alternate designs. Careful consideration was given to the layout and size of the key cap legends in order to best utilize the red LED light in each key switch.

Division Zero M50 Mouse
2016
For their first mouse, Das Keyboard sought to make a bold statement with broad ergonomic appeal. We partnered with Das Keyboard to realize this goal, resulting in the M50 gaming laser mouse. By iterating through physical models and ergonomic studies we arrived at an ambidextrous design that allows comfort and control for a variety of grip styles. The aluminum base plate grounds the mouse to the desk and gives the housing a solid quality that’s missing in many computer mice. To accommodate the needs of gamers we placed real-time DPI adjustment switches on top of the M50 next to the ring-lit scroll wheel, as well as symmetric side macro buttons that sit above a rubber thumb pad with a polygonal camouflage grip pattern.

The OHSO™ line of toothbrushes were designed to be the ultimate travel toothbrush. They have replaceable brush heads and store toothpaste in the handle, and can be refilled by first docking the brush with a toothpaste tube, then using the plunger to pull the paste from the tube into the storage cavity in the handle. We also created the direct mail and in-store packaging strategy and designed the web site and on-line store.

Avie Products Corporate Identity
Lifestyle & Consumer 2007
d:e developed the complete corporate identity package for Avie Products, along with the name and product logo for the Cue Self Breast-Exam Reminder.

Avie Cue Breast Self-Exam Reminder
Lifestyle & Consumer 2007
Early detection of breast cancer dramatically increases the odds of survival. The problem for most women is remembering to perform a breast self-exam. Menstruating women also need to remember at the right time in their cycles. Cue reminds women either monthly or at the ideal time in their cycle, while they’re in the privacy of their shower.
We designed Cue to be waterproof, and to attach to the shower wall without hardware or glue. The result is a clean, cute, unobtrusive design that integrates with bathroom decor.
Along with the design of the timer itself, d:e developed the product’s name and identity, the packaging strategy and the corporate identity for Avie Products.

The work helped to cement Wetnoz as the brand of choice for boutique pet retailers and consumers alike.
